Heather, Age 18

My name is Heather and I am 18 yrs old. I graduated from Cardozo Senior High School in 2009 and I attend currently Trinity University. I am majoring in Social Work. My first year of college had its ups and downs but in the end I landed on top of things and now everything is great. I am ready to start my next year with a great start.

I Have a Dream helped me get into college. With all the different opportunities they gave me and all the help through high school, I was able to find the perfect college for me. With the help of IHAD I will be able to achieve my dream of getting my law degree and becoming a lawyer. As a lawyer I can get my own place, be a good mother to my son, and have a really good job.

Heather, Age 10

I am Heather and I am 10 years old. I am in the 5th grade, and live in Washington DC. It's a great place. My teacher is Mr. Ehrmann. The school I go to is Emery ES, and it's an OK school.

My hobby is swimming. I can swim like a fish and dive like a whale. One of my other hobbies is basketball. I play in class with paper balls getting through in the trash. My favorite food is pizza because it's cheesy and it's so good you should try it some time. My other favorite food is shrimps and crabs. They are the bomb bomb bomb you just don't know. My personality is to be caring, helping, and loveful to others. I have one more hobby, and it is jumping rope.

My future dream is to work at any place you can help people, like give kids clothes, schools, and helping out all people all over the world. The way the world should be is that every person should be equal and treated the same. One day I dream that every person will have jobs, clothes, houses, and peaceful schools.
