Rachel, Age 19
My name is Rachel and I am 19 yrs old. I graduated from McKinley Tech and will be attending UDC majoring in mortuary science next year. My brothers are in the business and I have always been interested in it as well, and I’ve wanted to follow in their footsteps. I can’t wait until I am able to learn more about it in college.
I Have a Dream has helped me in different ways. I’m not good in math but with the help of IHAD, they helped me get a tutor who helped me in my math classes. If it wasn’t for their support and all their help with that, I would not have been able to pass math or even reach my dream of working with my brothers and opening up our own funeral home.
